MONTHLY TIMING · ANNUAL GUIDE · 7 MIN READ
Which months matter for career and money?
Assign a mode, not a guaranteed event.
A monthly palace can focus attention. It cannot promise a promotion, sale, investment return, or exact event.
Direct answer: There is no universally best month. A useful monthly map assigns a planning mode—build, connect, review, or recover—based on how the monthly palace interacts with the natal chart, active decade, and selected goal.
A whole-chart reading order
First read the annual palace and active decade. Then examine each monthly palace beside natal Career and Wealth. Career, Life, and Creativity months can support building; Friends, Travel, and Partnership can support connection; Wealth and Foundations can support review; Well-being and Health should prompt capacity checks.
Turn the reading into a bounded test
Give every month one mode, one bounded action, and one metric. Review the map quarterly and change the plan when evidence or constraints change.
Limits that matter
Monthly layers are the finest and most fragile context. Birth-time uncertainty, real schedules, contracts, budgets, and health always matter more than a favorable label.
Keep the evidence visible
Write the palace, star, Four Transformation, decade, or annual placement behind each interpretation. Then write the practical translation separately. This makes it possible to disagree with the translation without pretending the chart calculation changed.

Frequently asked questions
Is there one lucky money month for everyone?
No. Monthly timing is personal to the chart and should still be treated as a planning prompt, not a promised event or return.
Why does Ziheng use modes such as build or review?
Modes turn symbolic timing into a bounded planning action while avoiding claims that a particular event will occur.
