Direct answer

BaZi organizes elemental, Ten God, and luck-pillar relationships from four birth-time pillars. Zi Wei Dou Shu maps stars and transformations across twelve palaces. They share calendar inputs but answer questions through different structures.

Read it in this order

Calculate each system deterministically and keep its evidence separate. Compare only after the BaZi Day Master, strength, structure, and Da Yun and the Zi Wei palaces, stars, Four Transformations, and decade are stable.

METHOD BOUNDARYZiheng uses the Li Chun year boundary, solar-term month boundaries, and a 23:00 late-Zi day change. True solar time, historical DST, and unknown birth time remain explicit.

From symbol to real life

Use agreement to prioritize a test, disagreement to expose assumptions, and overlapping timing to plan a review window—not to claim certainty. A cross-check is valuable because it preserves tension instead of forcing harmony.

What this cannot do

This method cannot guarantee wealth, health, legal, work, or relationship outcomes. It is for cultural reflection and planning questions; major decisions still require real evidence and qualified advice.

FAQ

Which is more accurate, BaZi or Zi Wei Dou Shu?

Neither system is universally more accurate. They calculate and organize evidence differently. The useful comparison is whether each system is internally consistent, transparent about its rules, and helpful for the question being asked.

How does Ziheng handle disputed judgement?

Balance, climate, and structure evidence stay separate; a primary direction appears only when at least two lenses agree.
